The Savotta Jääkäri XL is a new development of the LJK, which was developed for the Finnish Armed Forces (airborne). It convinces with many details. Here slim design meets large volumes. The backpack is well balanced and therefore suitable for ski expeditions or tours in difficult terrain. Its sturdy, extremely lightweight and the Aluminum frame brings the load on to the hip belt and relieves the shoulders. This ensures good wearing comfort, especially on longer tours.

The backpack has been designed so that it fits as close as possible to the back. With waterproof snow guard. Thanks to the freely adjustable, removable lid, there is the possibility of overloading for more storage space. The underlying compression straps allow additional gear to be secured for example a tent.

Four adjustable compression straps with quick fasteners secure the contents by a smaller load, so everything is tight and nothing slide around. The backpack can be extended with compression straps at the 20 attachment points.

On the lower part of the backpack are on the left and right pouches with elastic band. These are suitable for drinking bottles or longer pieces of equipment.

The carrying system has no upper arch, this allows in the narrowest spaces or in a bent over movement best freedom of movement and does not hang anywhere. It can be individually adjusted in width to the wearer. Wide shoulder straps and hip belt distribute the load evenly. The used metal buckle is robust even at minus degrees and also the plastic buckles are tested to -30 ° C.
