The case reminds me of Cape Cod or Nantucket.  It calls to my inner preppy person.  I have always loved stripes and I am a sucker for any travel / make up cases and this is both. 

I am currently using it for make up. It is the perfect size to not take up a lot of room on the bathroom counter or in my work bag.  It fits make up brushes - best for smaller size brushes, but I do have a 7" inch blush brush in it and it fits in since the sides of the bag have some flex to them.  Could easily fit the needs of your little one for a weekend away - toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.  I know Julia is a big fan of matching Mommy!
